GTA 6 comes out on 19 November 2026 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. It was delayed twice to get there, and our delay timeline has the full history. The US PlayStation Store lists 05.00 UTC, which is 5am in the UK.
How much is GTA 6?

When can you preload GTA 6?
Digital preorders can preload from 12 November 2026. The boxed version holds a download code rather than a disc and goes on shelves the same day, so boxed buyers can preload too. Rockstar hasn't published a file size yet.

What has Rockstar shown so far?
Three trailers and a lot of music. Trailer 1 landed on 4 December 2023, Trailer 2 on 6 May 2025, and the 27 minute Extended Look premiered on Netflix on 27 August 2026.
On 8 October Rockstar named six radio stations, with hosts including Bad Bunny, Lana Del Rey and Robyn, as Pitchfork reported. Our radio guide lists them all.
Where is GTA 6 set?
GTA 6 is set in Leonida, Rockstar's version of Florida, with a modern Vice City at its centre. The two leads are Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos. Our map guide covers the six named regions.
Does GTA 6 have online?
Not at launch. Take Two's preorder announcement describes a single player experience, and it has said the current GTA Online carries on after GTA 6 releases. Our sister site tracks the question on its GTA 6 Online status page.
Are the GTA 6 leaks real?
Unconfirmed. Since late September an anonymous leaker called Cyberleek has posted clips described as footage from a development build. By 11 October, accounts including @GTAVI, @VICEXGTA and @LKM_Bat were describing the 18th clip.
Rockstar hasn't commented on any of them. We don't host or link the footage itself, because it is stolen material, and a development build can look very different from the finished game.
