One dataminer found it in a test build on 6 October. Discord pulled the code a day later, and the dates are now doing the rounds again.
The short version
Discord dataminer Wumpus Central found a GTA 6 campaign codenamed Hexagon in a Discord test build on 6 October 2026. The code points to a GTA VI app icon, app theme and display name font from 17 November at 6pm UK time, free until 8 December and for Nitro until 15 February 2027. Discord removed the references a day later. Neither Discord nor Rockstar has announced it.
Quick answer
Is there a GTA 6 Discord theme?
A Discord datamine from 6 October says a GTA 6 campaign codenamed Hexagon starts on 17 November 2026 at 6pm UK time. It adds a GTA VI app icon, app theme and display name font, free until 8 December and for Nitro until 15 February 2027. Neither Discord nor Rockstar has announced it.
Two days before GTA 6 launches, Discord may swap its own app icon for a GTA VI one. That is what a line of test code says, and nothing more yet.
Where did the GTA 6 Discord leak come from?
From Wumpus Central, an account on X that datamines Discord, meaning it digs through new app builds for features nobody has announced.
It posted the find at 9.08pm UK time on 6 October. Its screenshot shows new text in a Discord Canary test build, Build Id 630837, including “GTA VI,” “Limited Time” and “Promoted by Rockstar Games.” Insider Gaming wrote it up on 7 October, crediting Wumpus Central.
A day later, Wumpus Central said Discord had removed all GTA VI references from the code. On 18 October GTANewsHub repeated the same dates as reported news without naming a source. That makes one independent source, not two.

| Discord or Rockstar announcement | None as of 19 October |
When would the GTA 6 Discord theme start?
On 17 November 2026 at 6pm UK time, if the code holds. Free users would get 21 days, to 8 December.
Nitro, Discord's paid subscription, would keep it until 15 February 2027, about 90 days in all. Wumpus Central also found a 22 November date with no stated purpose. GTA 6 itself is out on 19 November, and our UK release time guide has the midnight details.
Has Discord confirmed the GTA 6 campaign?
No. The Discord blog and Discord's X account have said nothing about GTA 6, and neither has Rockstar.
Pulled code fits a promotion that is meant to stay secret. It can also mean plans changed. And a Discord theme says nothing about a PC version, which is still unannounced, as our GTA 6 PC tracker explains.
Check your app icon at 6pm on 17 November. That will settle it.
