The short version

Quick answer
What time does GTA 6 come out in the UK?
The GTA 6 UK release time is 12am on Thursday 19 November 2026, going by the PlayStation Store listing. The UK will be on GMT by then. Countdowns that convert into today's British Summer Time show 1am instead, but on the night your clock and the store will agree.
A UK player asked GTAVICentre why their countdown ran to 1am when the site said 12am. The answer is a clock change most countdowns have not reached yet.
What is the GTA 6 UK release time?
The stroke of midnight as Wednesday becomes Thursday 19 November. The UK PlayStation Store page lists the release at 12am UTC that day.
By then the UK is back on Greenwich Mean Time, so UK clocks and UTC match. Rockstar Games has not stated regional times itself. These come from the store.
Why does my GTA 6 countdown say 1am?
Because it is converting into British Summer Time, which ends on 25 October.
Right now the UK runs one hour ahead of GMT. A countdown built on today's offset turns 12am GMT on launch day into 1am. GTAVICentre gave the same explanation in reply to the confused player. It is a display quirk. The launch has not moved.
| Moment | UK clocks | US East Coast |
|---|---|---|
| UK listing opens | Midnight GMT, 19 Nov | 7pm EST, 18 Nov |
| US listing opens | 5am GMT, 19 Nov | Midnight EST, 19 Nov |
| Countdown in BST today | Shows 1am | n/a |
Does GTA 6 come out earlier in the UK than in the US?
Yes, by five hours on the US East Coast.
US daylight saving ends on 1 November, so New York is on EST, five hours behind GMT, at launch. The US store opens at 12am ET, which is 5am in the UK. Players in London start while New York is still at dinner.
Should I change my plans because of the 1am countdown?
No. Set your alarm for 12am UK time on the night of 18 to 19 November.
