A fact goes in only if it comes from Rockstar Games, Take-Two Interactive, a first-party platform store, or a named outlet that we link. Each article lists its sources at the end. Anything unconfirmed is labelled as such, or left out.
Leaks and rumours
We don't publish leaked material or leaked story details. Where a widely reported rumour matters, we say clearly that it's unconfirmed.

Articles are written and edited by our news desk under the consistent byline Dana Whitlock. Dana Whitlock is a pen name for the desk, which we disclose here so readers know who's speaking.
Updates and corrections
Every article shows a "Last updated" date. Errors are fixed promptly and significant changes are noted. See corrections.
Images
We use original graphics, and occasionally a small number of Rockstar press screenshots relevant to the story, credited "Image: Rockstar Games". Trailers are embedded from Rockstar's own YouTube channel rather than re-hosted.
Ownership and funding
The GTA 6 News is owned and operated by GT PUBLISHING AND NEWS LLC, a US LLC. It's funded by advertising, which is clearly labelled and never influences coverage. The same company also operates our sister site, The GTA 6 Online. Neither site is affiliated with Rockstar Games or Take-Two Interactive.
