The short version

GTA 6 is not coming to PC at launch. It releases on 19 November 2026 for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S only, and no PC version has been announced. Take Two has said PC is becoming more important to the company, but it has given no date.

Quick answer

Will GTA 6 be on PC?

Not at launch, and no PC version has been announced. GTA 6 releases on 19 November 2026 for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S only. Take Two has said PC is becoming more important to the company, but it has not given a PC date or named a PC store.

GTA 5 players on PC waited 19 months. The game hit consoles in September 2013 and reached PC in April 2015. Red Dead Redemption 2 followed the same pattern, arriving on PC about a year after consoles.

GTA 6 is lined up the same way. Rockstar's platform page lists PS5 and Xbox Series X|S for 19 November 2026, and Take Two's August results list the same two platforms.

Is GTA 6 on PC at launch?

No. Neither Rockstar nor Take Two has announced a PC version, and there is no listing on Steam, the Epic Games Store or the Rockstar Games Launcher.

Platform	GTA 6 at launch
PS5, and PS5 Pro Enhanced per the PlayStation Store	Yes
Xbox Series X\|S	Yes
PC on Steam, Epic or Rockstar Launcher	Not announced
PS4 and Xbox One	No

What has Take Two said about PC?

Take Two speaks about strategy, never dates. Its chief executive Strauss Zelnick has said the company aims to launch on any platform with a meaningful audience over time, and that PC is becoming more and more important to the company, as Game Rant reported.

That is a general statement about the business, not an announcement. It fits a later PC release. It doesn't promise one.

When might GTA 6 come to PC?

Nobody outside Rockstar knows. If Rockstar repeats the gap it left with GTA 5 and Red Dead 2, PC players would be looking at late 2027 or later. That is a pattern, and patterns can break.

Take Two has also given no reason to rush. Its forecast of $8.0 to $8.2 billion in net bookings for the year to March 2027 already assumes a console only launch.

Is there a GTA 6 PC download?

No. There is no legitimate PC build of GTA 6. Sites offering a download, a beta key or a "PC repack" are scams that spread malware or harvest payment details.

If you want to play on 19 November, you need a PS5 or an Xbox Series X|S. Check our file size guide before preload, and keep an eye on the delay timeline for any platform news.
