The short version

Valentina, the assistant who arrives with Mr Faber in the 2025 GTA Online Money Fronts update, appears in GTA 6's An Extended Look. GamesRadar and ScreenRant report she hires Jason and Lucia as security for Megamundo boss Andrés de León. Rockstar has not spelled out the link, but the name and look match.

Quick answer

Who is Valentina in GTA 6?

Valentina is a GTA Online character who returns in GTA 6. She first appeared in the 2025 Money Fronts update as Mr Faber's assistant. In An Extended Look she hires Jason and Lucia as security for Megamundo boss Andrés de León. GTA Wiki lists her as a returning character.

A post from the GTA 6 Countdown account on 27 October put Valentina back in the spotlight. It called her the first confirmed returning character in GTA 6. The scenes are not new. They come from An Extended Look, the 27 minute showcase Rockstar premiered on 27 August.

What makes her interesting is where she came from. She was introduced in GTA Online more than a year before GTA 6 was shown in this much detail.

Who is Valentina in GTA Online?

Valentina arrived with the Money Fronts update for GTA Online in 2025. GTA Wiki describes her as an assistant to Mr Faber, the wealthy buyer behind the update's business story.

Players see her in the Hands On Car Wash intro cutscene. She steps off Mr Faber's Luxor Deluxe private jet in Los Santos while talking on the phone. She says she is only in town for 24 hours to view a property, then jokes about San Andreas taxes.

At the time she looked like a minor walk on part. Nobody outside Rockstar knew she was heading to Leonida.

What does Valentina do in GTA 6?

She gives Jason and Lucia a job. GamesRadar reports that Valentina gives the pair bodyguard work during a Megamundo event. She hires them as security for Andrés de León. ScreenRant says that job leads to a party at Megamundo HQ that ends in a shootout.

GTA Wiki adds two scenes. She meets Jason and Lucia at Vice City International Airport as Andrés lands in his private jet. Later she introduces them to Megamundo chief operating officer Petra Navarro in the lobby of the Megamundo Building. Megamundo is the Leonida media company behind the telenovela ads spotted in Miami.

Is it really the same character?

It looks that way, but Rockstar has not said so directly. In the GTA 6 footage Lucia calls her Val and Andrés calls her Tina, as Kotaku points out. Both versions work with wealthy clients. ScreenRant notes the freckles on her face sit in the same places in both games.

GTA Wiki treats them as one person. We would still call it very likely rather than confirmed, as Rockstar has made no statement on the link.

Why does a returning character matter for GTA 6?

GTA 6 is set in Leonida, a new state, so most of its cast is new. Our GTA 6 characters guide covers Jason, Lucia and the wider supporting cast.

Valentina suggests Rockstar planted a GTA 6 character inside GTA Online a year early. Her lines in GTA Online make clear she is only visiting San Andreas, which fits a character based somewhere else.

It also raises a question about Mr Faber. Nothing Rockstar has released so far says whether he will follow her to Leonida. GTA Online players can see where her story starts in our GTA Online Valentina guide.

Where can you watch Valentina's GTA 6 scenes?

You can watch An Extended Look on YouTube or Netflix. Her scenes come in the final minutes, starting with the airport meeting and ending at the Megamundo party.

GTA 6 launches on 19 November 2026 for PS5 and Xbox Series X and S.
