Two weeks to launch, and Rockstar fills the gap with a fresh set of Vice City stills.
The short version
Rockstar Games published a GTA 6 Launch Gallery of new screenshots on 5 November 2026. Its X post says Grand Theft Auto VI is "now officially only two weeks away" and closes with "See you in Leonida on November 19." The Rockstar media page now lists 138 screenshots, up 39 from 99. One still shows the Launch Trailer dog with a bandana reading ROCCO, and another puts Jason in a mall hallway. One frame circulating from the set appears to show Kodak Black. Rockstar has not named him.
Quick answer
What is the GTA 6 Launch Gallery?
Rockstar Games published a GTA 6 Launch Gallery on 5 November 2026. Its post says the game is "now officially only two weeks away" and closes with "See you in Leonida on November 19." The media page now lists 138 screenshots, up 39 from 99. New stills show a Vice City mall and a dog whose bandana reads ROCCO.
Rockstar Games just put a clock on launch week. On Thursday 5 November the studio posted a new set of GTA 6 screenshots and said the wait is measured in days, not months.
“Grand Theft Auto VI is now officially only two weeks away. Today, enjoy a stunning look at Vice City and beyond with a collection of new screenshots on the official site. See you in Leonida on November 19.”
The post links to the Launch Gallery on Rockstar's site. A matching Newswire article carries the same two weeks line. The gallery page itself reads "Explore Vice City and beyond through new screenshots" and ends on the Leonida line.
How many new GTA 6 screenshots are there?
Thirty nine, going by Rockstar's own media page. On rockstargames.com/VI/media the Screenshots count now reads 138. Earlier the same day that page listed 99, so the Launch Gallery adds 39 stills. TexFunz2 counted the same jump within minutes of Rockstar's post.
| Count | Source |
|---|---|
| 138 screenshots | Rockstar VI media page, 5 November |
| 99 screenshots | Same page, earlier the same day |
| +39 new | Difference, matching community count |
The gallery is the first screenshot drop of this size since earlier media packs, and Rockstar framed it as a Launch Gallery rather than a trailer still dump. Our release date hub now points here for the two week line.
What do Rockstar's captions say about the new GTA 6 screenshots?
Each still on the gallery page carries hidden alt text, the short description a screen reader speaks aloud. GTAVice.net and iGrandTheftAuto copied all 39 from Rockstar's site.
One reads "Jason and Lucia robbing a Fleeca bank branch, both wearing bandanas and duffel bags, armed with SMGs." Another reads "A scene inside The Rusty Anchor bar: A group of Leonida locals raise their drinks in the foreground while Jason and Lucia dance on the crowded dance floor behind them." A twilight skyline shot says "Traffic waits on both sides of a drawbridge as a speedboat skims toward the city's skyline." And below the surface, Rockstar writes "A lionfish swims among seaplants with a diver shining a flashlight in the background; a boat idles on the surface."
A TEILE logo also appears in one new screenshot, iGrandTheftAuto reports, crediting @_Ferrantik. The DJ hardware brand was cofounded by Rampa of Keinemusik, the collective behind GTA Online's Cayo Perico soundtrack.
Where is the mall in the new GTA 6 screenshots?
In Vice City, and it is Rockstar's first look inside a mall. Its alt text, as quoted by iGrandTheftAuto, puts a helmeted Jason on a motorbike in a "mall hallway". Two other riders cover him while armed guards point handguns.
Rockstar does not name the mall. Fans and GTA Wiki identify it as Gator Plaza, often compared to Miami's Dolphin Mall.
Who is Rocco, the dog in the GTA 6 Launch Gallery?
He is the tactical dog from the Launch Trailer. Rockstar's Launch Gallery screenshot shows the dog's bandana reading ROCCO in white on a red stripe, as an iGrandTheftAuto crop shows.
Rockstar's alt text for the cargo plane scene only mentions "a dog wearing tactical goggles", and no Rockstar post names him.
When does GTA 6 come out after this drop?
On 19 November 2026, exactly two weeks after Rockstar's post. That date has not moved. Our release date guide covers midnight UK time, US times, Japan and Korea, and the 10 November preload.
Does a new screenshot show Kodak Black?
One new frame circulating from the gallery appears to show Kodak Black. charlieINTEL posted the still with a firm claim. Rockstar's X post and Newswire do not name him. Fans identify the figure from the screenshot alone. Treat it as a visual ID, not a cast confirmation.
A TikTok clip shared by GameRoll has revived the talk. Its caption says Kodak confirms he is in GTA 6, but the audio does not clearly back that up. A man off camera says Kodak will be in GTA while Kodak mumbles. Rockstar has said nothing.
| Claim | Status |
|---|---|
| Rockstar posted a new Launch Gallery | Confirmed, Rockstar X and Newswire |
| One still appears to show Kodak Black | Unconfirmed, fan visual ID only |
| Rockstar named Kodak Black in this drop | No |
| Viral clip says Kodak is in GTA 6 | Someone else makes the claim, Kodak does not clearly say it |
| Kodak Black music interest from Rockstar | Separate soundtrack context only |
Rockstar has previously told DAZED it loves Miami artists like Kodak Black and Sexyy Red for the soundtrack, as HotNewHipHop summarised. That is music, not a character credit. Our characters guide keeps rumour cast claims off the main list.
What do the new GTA 6 screenshots show of the map?
Vice City and the wider Leonida setting. Rockstar's own line is a look at Vice City and beyond. The stills sit beside the regions already named on the GTA VI site, from the Keys to Port Gellhorn, Ambrosia, Grassrivers and Mount Kalaga. Match them against our map guide once you have scrolled the gallery.
Rockstar's screenshots page now offers all 138 screenshots in a single ZIP file of about 111 MiB (116 MB). That puts the Launch Gallery and every earlier still in one download, with no need to save them one by one.
