The short version

KFC France changed its X profile picture to a frame from the GTA 6 Launch Trailer showing Raul Bautista holding a red and white KFC bucket. Fan accounts say the bucket in the trailer carries Cluckin' Bell, the series' parody chicken chain. Nothing suggests a paid tie in with Rockstar Games.

Quick answer

What did KFC France do with GTA 6?

KFC France changed its X profile picture to a frame from the GTA 6 Launch Trailer, with Raul Bautista holding a red and white KFC bucket. In the trailer, fan accounts say, that bucket carries Cluckin' Bell, the game's own parody chicken chain. Rockstar Games has not commented, and nothing points to a paid deal.

Raul Bautista has a new lunch order. On the KFC France X account, the GTA 6 bank robber now stands under a full moon with a piece of chicken in one hand and a striped KFC tub in the other.

What does the KFC France profile picture show?

It is a night scene from the GTA 6 Launch Trailer, with Raul's chicken rebranded as KFC.

Raul stands in the middle in tinted glasses and a black T shirt, holding up a drumstick. Two other figures wait behind him, and a digger arm rises on the right. The verified account, which has about 63,000 followers, still uses the bio "poulet", French for chicken.

iGrandTheftAuto pointed out the change on 17 October, and the post passed 16,000 views within two hours. The picture file on X dates from the afternoon of 16 October.

Why did KFC France put Raul on its profile?

Because the brand had already joked that its bucket was hiding in the trailer.

On 16 October, KFC France quoted a viral French post about the Launch Trailer and wrote "apparemment y a un bucket KFC dans la bande d'annonce, on trouve pas", which means apparently there is a KFC bucket in the trailer, but we can't find it. That post drew about 19,500 views. The new avatar is the punchline.

GTANewsHub and SourceVI say the bucket in Rockstar's footage is Cluckin' Bell. That chain has been GTA's fried chicken parody since GTA San Andreas, so KFC France has swapped a joke brand for the real one.

Is KFC working with Rockstar on GTA 6?

There is no sign of a deal. We found no Rockstar Games post or KFC announcement about one.
