Most of the Rockstar Store collection sold out in ten days. Some of what eBay sellers want hundreds for never did.
The short version
An iGTA investigation published on 19 October 2026 found GTA 6 merchandise on eBay at up to 2,735% above Rockstar Store prices, led by a used €14.99 keychain listed at €425. Of 26 GTA 6 items on the UK Rockstar Store, 15 are sold out. Stickers, one tote and one cap are still in stock at full price.
Quick answer
How much do GTA 6 merch scalpers charge?
GTA 6 merch scalpers on eBay are asking up to 2,735% more than the Rockstar Store, according to an iGTA investigation published on 19 October 2026. A used keychain that cost €14.99 is listed at €425. Some items resellers are pushing, including both sticker packs and one tote, are still in stock from Rockstar at full price.
A chrome keychain that cost €14.99 at the Rockstar Store is now listed on eBay for €425. The seller, in Germany, says it has been unpacked once.
That listing tops an investigation by iGTA, the fan site behind GTAVice.net, which checked the UK store against eBay ten days after the collection went on sale. The big number grabs attention. The useful part is quieter, because some of the stock scalpers are selling has not sold out at all.
Why is GTA 6 merch selling out?
Rockstar Games sells the Grand Theft Auto VI Collection only through its own store, and most of it went within ten days.
The collection opened on 8 October 2026, about six weeks before launch. Rockstar Report's price list puts the US range at $4.99 for holographic stickers up to $39.99 for the canvas tote and Zippo lighter. iGTA counted 26 GTA 6 items on the UK store and found 15 sold out in every size and colour. That includes 10 of the 13 tees, the Vice City Zippo lighter, the Vice City money clip and the keychain.
The studio hasn't said whether any of it will come back.
How much are GTA 6 merch scalpers charging on eBay?
Between roughly two and 28 times the store price, based on the asking prices iGTA found.
| Item | Rockstar Store price | Highest eBay ask found | Increase |
|---|---|---|---|
| Keychain, used | €14.99 | €425 | 2,735% |
| Keychain, sealed | £13.99 | £275 | 1,866% |
| Vice City Money Clip | £22.99 | £130.69 | 468% |
| Vice City Zippo Lighter | £35.99 | £199.97 | 456% |
| Canvas Tote | £36.99 | £150 | 306% |
| Goodtime State Vice City Collection | $399.99 | $1,558.80 | 290% |
Tees are cheaper to chase. iGTA found them at £42.29 to £75 against £25.99 in the store. These are asking prices, though, and iGTA notes that most of the listings accept offers.
Which GTA 6 merch is still in stock at Rockstar?
iGTA found both sticker packs, one tote colourway and one cap still on sale at full price, yet resellers list them at a markup.
Prices were correct when iGTA published.
| Item | Rockstar Store | eBay ask |
|---|---|---|
| Sticker Collection | £8.99 | up to £34.99 |
| Holographic Sticker Collection | £5.99 | up to £29.99 |
| Pink and Blue Canvas Tote | £36.99 | £150 |
| GTA VI Baseball Cap, Blue and Pink | $29.99 | $107.99 |
So check the Rockstar Store before you bid. Buying that tote from Rockstar instead of eBay saves you £113.
Why are people selling Vice City Collection boxes they don't have?
Every eBay listing for the $399.99 box is a presale, because none has shipped yet.
iGTA counted 126 listings for The Goodtime State Vice City Collection on eBay UK, with an average price of £500. The dearest, from a seller in Michigan, asks $1,558.80 plus $167.38 for postage to the UK, and 25 people were watching it. The box ships on 19 November, and the store still takes preorders, limited to one per customer. Our Vice City Collection explainer covers what is inside and why the game isn't included.
Are the GTA 6 album and controllers being scalped too?
Yes. Both sold out early, and both now list above retail on eBay UK, iGTA found.
The limited liquid filled vinyl of the GTA VI album sold out within an hour on 17 September at £108.99. It now lists for £150.07 to £567.70, and one US seller asking $258 shows 27 sold. The limited edition GTA VI DualSense controllers cost £74.99 in the UK, sold out within minutes and now average £114.95.
How do you avoid paying a GTA 6 merch scalper?
Check the Rockstar Store first, and add sold out items to your wishlist for a restock alert.
iGTA also warns that a search for a GTA VI keychain brings up 3D printed and "inspired" keyrings at £2 to £7 beside the real one. Any listing marked presale means the seller doesn't have the item yet. The same caution applies to the GTA 6 early access scams doing the rounds online.
The game itself costs £69.99 for the Standard Edition, as our GTA 6 price guide shows. That sealed £275 keychain costs nearly four copies of it.
