The short version

Freebee, the free electric ride service in Miami, told iGrandTheftAuto that its GTA 6 campaign covers 20 wrapped vehicles in three designs, Welcome to Vice City, Vice City Manatees and Weazel News. They run in six areas from Downtown Miami to FIU between 15 October 2026 and 7 January 2027. Freebee said it was not told the campaign's objective, and Rockstar Games has not commented.

Quick answer

How many GTA 6 Freebee vehicles are in Miami?

The GTA 6 Freebee campaign covers 20 wrapped vehicles across six Miami areas, Freebee told iGrandTheftAuto. They carry three designs, Welcome to Vice City, Vice City Manatees and Weazel News, and run from 15 October to 7 January. Freebee said it was not told the campaign's goal. Rockstar has not commented.

The Weazel News van that turned up at School Board Station on Monday was one of 20.

That is the count Freebee, the free electric ride service that runs around Miami, gave iGrandTheftAuto. The fan site posted it at 9.02pm UK time on 20 October, and GTAVice.net published the full breakdown. It is one source, and every figure below is Freebee's, as relayed by iGTA.

How many GTA 6 Freebee vehicles are there in Miami?

Twenty, spread across six service areas, per Freebee. Downtown Miami gets the most.

Area	Wrapped vehicles
Downtown Miami (DDA)	6
Miami Gardens	4
South Beach	4
Wynwood	2
University of Miami	2
Florida International University (FIU)	2

Every one of those areas is a real Freebee operation. The Miami Downtown Development Authority offers free Freebee rides in the city centre in partnership with the company, and the University of Miami runs its own evening service. Freebee says it works across more than 55 zones in Florida.

What do the GTA 6 Freebee wraps look like?

There are three designs, per Freebee. Welcome to Vice City, Vice City Manatees and Weazel News.

Weazel News is the TV network that reports on a crash and a biker gang in Rockstar's first trailer, and GTA Wiki lists it for GTA 6. The Vice City Manatees are the city's football team, and GTAVice.net says the wrap shows the team name and logo in green.

The Weazel design is the one fans have already photographed. A Miami X user posted two photos of a black Freebee van at School Board Station on 19 October, and our Wynwood ads report tracked that sighting.

Freebee's list may also explain an older clip. Earlier the same day, Miami user samchrme filmed a Freebee shuttle with a Welcome to Vice City wrap. We left it out at the time because nothing tied it to a campaign. A Welcome to Vice City design now sits on Freebee's own list, so the clip fits, though nobody has matched that shuttle to this fleet.

How long does the GTA 6 Freebee campaign run?

From 15 October 2026 to 7 January 2027, according to Freebee's figures. That is about five weeks before GTA 6 launches on 19 November and seven weeks after.

The start date falls in the same week fans first spotted cars with GTA 6 Leonida plates in Miami. The earliest wrapped Freebee we have found on X dates from 19 October, though.

One catch for students. The University of Miami says its Freebee service runs 7pm to 4am and stops for winter break, so its two wrapped cars may sit idle for part of the holidays.

Did Rockstar pay for the Freebee wraps?

Nobody has said. Rockstar Games has not commented, and Freebee told iGTA it was not told the campaign's specific objective.

Freebee does sell space on its fleet. A May 2026 Freebee blog post lists select vehicle branding among its ad products. That shows how a wrap gets bought, but not who bought these ones.

Where else is GTA 6 advertising in Miami?

Almost everywhere a visitor looks. Umbrellas, a banner plane and an ad boat are in our Miami marketing tracker, and the Vice City airship has seven dates on the Goodyear blimp schedule.

Freebee rides are free and booked in its app. Nobody can request a wrapped car, so downtown is the best bet, with six of the 20.
