Every other stop on the page is a real city. Miami is the only one with a new name.
The short version
Goodyear's blimp schedule lists seven Miami area events under the location name Vice City, starting with Florida State at Miami at Hard Rock Stadium on 17 October 2026 and ending with the Jets at the Dolphins on 29 November. One stop, a Miami Heat game at Kaseya Center on 18 November, falls the night before GTA 6 launches.
Quick answer
When is the GTA 6 blimp flying in Miami?
The GTA 6 blimp schedule on Goodyear's website lists seven Miami area events under the name Vice City between 17 October and 29 November 2026. They cover college and NFL games at Hard Rock Stadium, NASCAR's Championship Weekend at Homestead Miami Speedway and a Heat game at Kaseya Center on 18 November, the night before launch.
Goodyear names every stop on its blimp schedule after a real place. Inglewood. Pomona. Even its own Florida base at Pompano Beach. The seven Miami entries just say Vice City.
An X user, TexFunz2, pointed to the listings on 16 October. We checked the Goodyear schedule page the same evening. Each of the seven events carries Vice City as its location, and the pictures behind them have Vice City in their file names too.

When can you see the GTA 6 blimp in Miami?
The first chance is Saturday 17 October, when Florida State plays Miami at Hard Rock Stadium, according to Goodyear's schedule.
Four more games at the same stadium follow, two college and two NFL. The NASCAR Championship Weekend runs from 7 to 9 November at Homestead Miami Speedway, a stop the GTAonlineNews account also flagged on X.
A schedule is a plan, though. Goodyear can change the page at any time, so check it again before you go looking up.
Is the Vice City blimp flying the night before GTA 6 launches?
Yes, if the plan holds. Goodyear lists the Milwaukee Bucks at the Miami Heat at Kaseya Center on 18 November 2026, one day before launch.
GTA 6 comes out on 19 November on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. Kaseya Center is already dressed for the game, with a Welcome to Vice City sign that CBS12 reported on. On 16 October a fan, samchrme, also posted photos of a tour bus near the arena with “I ❤️ Vice City” all over it. Rockstar has not commented on the bus, so treat it as a fan sighting.
The last Vice City entry, the Jets at the Dolphins on 29 November, comes ten days after launch.
Does Goodyear say the blimp is for GTA 6?
No. The schedule never mentions GTA 6, Grand Theft Auto or Rockstar Games, and it does not say which airship flies each date.
The link comes from the paint job. RockstarINTEL reported on 12 October that Wingfoot Three, registration N3A, had been photographed in Akron, Ohio, with Vice City branding before it set off for Goodyear's base at Pompano Beach. Our Vice City blimp report follows that trip.
Our reading is that the label means the painted ship. Goodyear has not said so, and neither Goodyear nor Rockstar Games has commented.
What else is GTA 6 doing in Miami?
Quite a lot. Wynwood Walls has 10 murals made for the game on view through 1 January 2027, according to ARTnews.
Fans have also spotted a banner over South Beach and branded loungers on the sand, which our Miami Beach report tracks. Cars with Leonida plates have turned up on the streets as well, covered in our Leonida plates story.
If you are in Miami this weekend, Saturday's game at Hard Rock Stadium is the first date worth watching the sky for.
