A Spanish stadium tour just treated GTA 6 launch day like a holiday the whole country will keep.
The short version
Spanish duo Estopa moved the general ticket sale for its 2027 stadium tour off GTA 6 launch day on the 19th to the 17th. Brothers David and José Muñoz said as much when they announced album La Maketa, due on the 20th. Four Spanish stadium dates follow in June and July 2027.
Quick answer
Why did Estopa move its ticket sale for GTA 6?
Spanish duo Estopa moved its stadium ticket sale from GTA 6 launch day on the 19th to the 17th at 10.22pm local time. Brothers David and José Muñoz said they shifted the date so the sale would not clash with the game. Album La Maketa lands on the 20th.
GTA 6 is big enough that a Spanish stadium tour just gave it the day off.
Brothers David and José Muñoz, better known as Estopa, told the press they had planned to open ticket sales on 19 November. That is the day Rockstar launches GTA 6 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. They moved the sale to 17 November instead, 3DJuegos and Vandal both report from the same presentation.
Why did Estopa change the ticket date for GTA 6?
José said there is a game everyone is waiting for and that it also lands around those dates. He said they had to find a slot so they would not coincide with the day GTA comes out, and that he did not want to do advertising for it.
David filled in the family detail. He said they had planned to sell tickets on that mid November date, then his son told him not to put it that day because there are many geeks, starting with themselves. So they moved it to 17 November. He guessed aloud that GTA lands on the 19th while joking that he had already done the advertising he wanted to avoid.
When do Estopa tickets go on sale?
The general sale is the 17th of that month in 2026. El Periodico and Europa Press list 10.22pm local time through estopa.com. 3DJuegos and Vandal quote David saying tickets open at 10pm. Treat 10.22pm as the calendar time and 10pm as the on stage round number.
A linked album prebuy opens around 18 October. Fans who prebuy the physical album get a personal code for early ticket access on 16 November, one day before the general sale, per El Periodico.

What is Estopa album La Maketa?
La Maketa is the new Estopa album. Coverage also calls it La MKT. It collects songs the brothers recorded in the late 1990s that stayed on the home stereo at their parents' house, plus newer material. It goes on sale on the 20th, the day after GTA 6.
The music story matters here only as the product tied to the tour and the early ticket code. For how Rockstar is stocking GTA 6 itself with radio and podcasts, see our radio stations guide.
Where is Estopa playing in 2027?
Four stadium dates in Spain.
Valencia on 12 June at Estadio Ciutat de València. Barcelona on 18 June at Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys. Sevilla on 26 June at Estadio La Cartuja. Madrid on 9 July at Riyadh Air Metropolitano.
Ticket prices were not in the gaming coverage. Check estopa.com when the sale opens.
Does this change anything for GTA 6 players?
Only as a measure of how crowded 19 November already looks. Rockstar moved GTA 6 twice before locking 19 November 2026, as our delay timeline shows. Other publishers have been clearing that week for years. A mainstream Spanish act doing the same for ticket sales is a new kind of signal.
It does not change the game price, the platforms or the file size. Those still sit on our price guide.
Keep the countdown open if you are planning launch night around the same calendar the Muñoz brothers just dodged.
