Two seconds of a painted plane turned a four day old token into a $3 million bet.

The short version
Dacity Coin is a Solana memecoin named after the DacityCoin plane in the GTA 6 Launch Trailer. Decrypt reports it rose 2,900% in the hour after the trailer, to a $3.18 million market value. It launched four days before the trailer, and Rockstar Games has not created, endorsed or linked any token to the game.
Quick answer
What is the GTA 6 Dacity Coin?
The GTA 6 Dacity Coin is a Solana memecoin named after a DacityCoin plane in the Launch Trailer, and Rockstar Games did not make it. Decrypt reports the token rose 2,900% in the hour after the trailer came out. It existed four days before the trailer, and nothing ties it to the game.
A plane flies past a beach just under a minute into the GTA 6 Launch Trailer. DacityCoin is painted on its side. Within an hour, a crypto token with the same name was worth 30 times more than it had been just before.
What is Dacity Coin in the GTA 6 trailer?
It is a name painted on a plane in the trailer, next to the word AudaCity.
TokenPost reports the plane reads "DacityCoin AudaCity". CryptoPotato puts it at about the 56 second mark of the 90 second trailer, which Rockstar Games posted on 15 October 2026. The studio has said nothing about what DacityCoin is or does in the game. Our Launch Trailer breakdown covers the rest of the footage.

How much did the Dacity Coin price jump?
About 2,900% in one hour, according to Decrypt.
The crypto news site says the token went from a $104,000 market value to $3.18 million after the trailer dropped, then gave back about 53%. Market value here means the token price multiplied by every coin in supply. TokenPost logged $9.56 million of trading in the 24 hours to 1.25pm UTC on 16 October, about five times the coin's value at that point.
Decrypt also counted 24 traders who made more than $10,000 each. The best of them turned $1,912 into $44,000.
The price has climbed again this weekend. DEX Screener, a site that tracks crypto trading pools, showed the main pool at about $2.15 million at 6am UK time on 18 October, up 57% in a day.
| Claim | Status on 18 October |

| Solana Dacity Coin is made or backed by Rockstar Games | No evidence, TokenPost says nothing connects them |
| Token rose about 2,900% in an hour | Reported by Decrypt |
| Token existed before the trailer | Yes, first pool opened 11 October per TokenPost |
| GTA 6 accepts real cryptocurrency | Not shown or announced |
Is Dacity Coin linked to Rockstar Games?
No. TokenPost says the matching name does not show that Rockstar Games created or endorsed the token.
The coin's first trading pool opened on 11 October at 11.16am UTC, four days before the trailer. Decrypt says it was created after the name turned up in leaked footage. We do not describe that material, and our Cyberleek report explains why.
Copies followed fast. CryptoPotato found tokens with the same name on Robinhood Chain and Arc, and one opened four minutes after Rockstar's post. It also notes the main Solana pool trades against TTWO, a token version of Take Two Interactive stock issued by Backpack Securities. Take Two owns Rockstar, but CryptoPotato reports it was Pump.fun, the launch site behind the coin, that added TTWO as a pairing option, through a feature it launched on 9 September.
Is the GTA 6 Dacity Coin safe to buy?
No GTA 6 token has Rockstar backing, so its price rests on trailer hype alone. We do not give financial advice.
The swings tell the story. CryptoPotato reports Dacity hit $0.0013 on its launch day and fell below $0.0002 by midnight UTC. DexTrading notes the token lists no website of its own, so any site claiming to be Dacity's is unverified.
Cyberleek's own memecoin is a recent warning. The leaker said it wanted the coin to reach a $30 million value, and IGN India reported it fell to about $1.2 million instead.
GTA 6 arrives on 19 November 2026 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. That is the first day anyone will see what DacityCoin actually is inside the game.
